Playful with a penchant for mischief, despite his horrid sense of humor and his tendency to give people a heart attack by appearing out of nowhere and on the ceiling; Lilia is incredibly wise both from having lived a long life and from having spent time as a soldier on the battlefield. Both elements have taught him to appreciate the life that he lives and the world around him, as well as to nurture those in his care. Though he has a more or less laissez-faire policy when concerning raising and tending to Silver, Malleus, and Sebek; It does not stop him from doting on them all every so often, even if they suffer on the culinary side of things.
Due to his manner of speech, most do not believe that he is as old as he claims to be.
